MOSS BEACH ADDITION
Moss Beach, California
Located in a densely developed coastal community, this addition to a 1960s post-and-beam house consists of a steel and glass pavilion with an asymmetrical, barrel-vaulted roof floating on slender steel columns. Interior spaces are carved from solid, rectilinear masses beneath the sheltering roof to reveal unobstructed ocean views.
